Background
Katie was born and raised in Lincoln and is a graduate of UNL with a B.S. in Marketing and Business Education. She met her husband Ryan in Lincoln — a three-time All-American Swimmer at UNL. Their careers took them to Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, and they are thrilled to be back in Nebraska with their youngest in middle school, their son in graduate school, and their middle daughter a junior at UNL.
Katie has spent the past 25 years working with organizations to help attract, develop, and retain top talent. Locally, she worked for the Gallup Organization and Talent+. Currently, Katie is a Senior Partner with Korn Ferry, working with healthcare and higher education organizations to find and develop the very best talent. Katie has served on the UNL College of Business Advisory Board since 2019.
With deep roots in Nebraska, a family directly invested in the University of Nebraska system, and decades of experience building excellent institutions, Katie brings the right perspective and expertise to the Board of Regents.
